Joined the marine industry 28 years ago as a berthing master before being appointed Conwy marina manager in 2003. Overseen Conwy develop into a 525 berth marina offering a full range of facilities and ensuring efficient and profitable operations and maximizing the potential of the facility. Conformed to all company policies and procedures including health and safety and statutory regulations. Promoted the marina and maintained high standards of professional and exemplary service. Managed and supervised up to 17 members of staff effectively and in accordance with all established HR policies. Managed 12 full Winter dredging operation at Conwy marina removing circa 26,000 tonnes and 8 external dredging contract in house whilst retaining its 5 gold anchor status and more recently its inaugural clean marina award.
